Like everyone else, I like to eat but I'm also conscious about eating for health and fitness. Eating For Health To promote good health and prevent disease it is critical that you establish balanced eating habits to ensure that your body receives all the nutrients it needs to be healthy. A healthy diet should be maintained on a consistent basis by eating a variety of foods in the right proportions to ensure you get all the essential nutrients your body needs. The five main food groups that make up a balanced diet are fruits and vegetables, starchy foods, protein foods, and sugary and fatty foods.
