Jess Graves’ writing career began in 2006 with a college assignment: to create and maintain a "web log" on any topic that interested her. Frustrated with the lack of entry-level magazine positions in a post-recession economy, she kept up with it after school, determined to get her voice out one way or the other. Today, the term is "blog", and her celebrated Southern lifestyle site The Love List — which stopped publishing last year after a twelve year run — served its original purpose many times over. After her tenure as the Director of Marketing for Atlanta's iconic Ponce City Market, she is now a full-time writer, her stories appearing on the pages of Southern Living, Town & Country and Garden & Gun. She’s currently at work on a podcast about Southern women.
