Briana is a writer, creative director, and restauranteur with over a decade of advertising and PR experience. She writes about travel, cooking, food, drinks, motherhood and baseball. In PR and advertising she focuses on hospitality, travel, retail, food and beverage clients. She’s always available for hire. Her first book, Northern Hospitality, released by Voyageur Press is available now. It was a 2019 IACP Cookbook Awards finalist in the "Beer, Wine & Spirits" category. And finalist in the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards for "Best New Cocktail or Bartending Book". With her husband Andrew, she owns the Portland Hunt + Alpine Club, a Scandinavian-influenced craft cocktail bar that is a two-time James Beard semi-finalist (2015 & 2017) for "Outstanding Bar Program". She hosts "Hush, Hush", a monthly dinner series where the cuisine, wine and music changes.
