Today we head to Hong Kong, China, and focus on eight spots that are garnering serious buzz and acclaim. For this edition, blogger and critic Janice Leung, who runs e_ting in Hong Kong, has shared her picks for the hottest dining her city currently has to offer.

Among the picks are two very popular, very good, and very cheap options (Butao Ramen for noodles and Tim Ho Wan for Michelin-starred dim sum), an izakaya/yakitori restaurant from a former Masa chef (Yardbird), a sleek pâtisserie (Sift), and a counter-seat-only showcase for contemporary authorial cooking (Liberty Private Works).

Here now, the Eater Heat Map to Hong Kong.
Think there are any glaring omissions? You know what to do.
