After yesterday's list of Motor City's hottest bars yesterday, here's a return to Detroit, Michigan, this time with a focus on six newish restaurants that have been garnering serious buzz. As was the case with the cocktail post, Eat It Detroit writer Nicole Rupersburg has made the selections for her city's restaurants of the moment.

Among the offerings: the second location of a very popular and acclaimed pizzeria (Biga, in Royal Oak), an equestrian-themed restaurant with all sorts of different sliders (Green Dot Stables), a new burger and sandwich spot across the street from Slow's (Mercury Burger and Bar), and a diner serving breakfast and lunch from two friends who recently moved in from Toronto (Brooklyn Street Local).
