A Guide to 18 Hot and Essential Restaurants in Spain

View as Map

Here are eighteen restaurants across Spain that are hot and have food to back it up. Among the selections: the two newest Michelin three-stars (Quique Dacosta and Azurmendi), Albert and Ferran Adrià's "tapas" restaurant in Barcelona (Tickets), a well-reviewed Mexican restaurant in Madrid (Punto MX), accessible gastrobars (Lamoraga and Tondeluna), and several lesser-known restaurants worth the trip (Atrio in Caceres and Culler de Pau in O Grove). Many thanks to critic Maria Canabal for her intel and suggestions.
