Geraldine's

Looking for an early buzz? Bartender Jennifer Keyser of Southern-accented newbie Geraldine's, within Austin, Texas' Hotel Van Zandt, wants to pump up the volume on breakfast with her fruity whiskey sour riff. The trick? Just grab that jar of blueberry jam off the table and add a spoonful to this classic whiskey cocktail.

That’s My Jam!
Makes 1

11/2 ounces whiskey, such as Wild Turkey
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup (1:1)
a spoon of blueberry jam

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then pour contents into an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
