"A couple years ago I was in Los Angeles and ventured to Eveleigh for a drink. One of the bartenders asked me to let him make me an off-menu cocktail, so I did. He made me a classic margarita, but instead of using tequila, he built the drink with mezcal. Ever since then, Eveleigh's mezcal margarita has been my go-to and I can't go in there without ordering one. The honey balances the lime's acidity, and the mezcal bumps up the drink's complexity thanks to its smokiness. I bet the recipe has to be pretty simple. Can you ask for it?" - Kamie N, West Hollywood
