50 Shades of Grey-themed Beer Is 50 Shades of Expensive

A Scottish beer company has made an aphrodisiac beer inspired by the forthcoming book turned film, 50 Shades of Grey.

In advance of the 50 Shades of Grey theatrical release, Scottish craft beer company Innis & Gunn has launched a limited edition ale titled "50 Shares of Green" flavored with aphrodisiac botanicals and priced at £30 (about $46) per 330ml bottle. In addition to ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and damiana (an herb believed to boost sexual potency), the beer also contains "50 different types of hops from around the world," reports The Drinks Business.

Innis & Gunn only produced 200 bottles, which perhaps explains the price, and they'll be offered for pre-order on the brewer's website.
