In this (presumably very risky) video, the YouTube channel succinctly called How To Make Sushi Japanese Food Recipes used a GoPro camera to film an underwater view of an egg poaching in boiling water. On Reddit, the video's creator says he inserted the camera's "standard underwater case" into the boiling water, and the case eventually fractured due to the heat — though the camera appears to still work fine.
It's not quite as extreme as one recent video of cracking an egg deep underwater, but it's definitely hypnotic in a strange way. Go, watch:
