Famous British graffiti artist Banksy has unveiled his latest in a series of New York City artworks: A fiberglass statue of Ronald McDonald getting his extra large clown shoes shined by "a real live boy." According to Banksy's website, the piece will be outside of a different McDonald's at lunch everyday for the next week. Today the sculpture was in the South Bronx. The audio guide from Banksy's website (shared below via Animal New York) suggests that Ronald McDonald is arguably the most sculpted figure in history after Jesus Christ, and that the instillation can be read as "a critique of the heavy labor required to sustain the polished image of a mega-corporation."
