The Beer Lover’s Guide to New Orleans
View as Map
It’s an amazingly tiny Japanese bar. We saw a great band play and drank sake (because what else?).
Port of Call
Port of Call has an amazing burger — very necessary after an early-morning flight.
We stopped by Spitfire every day for our coffee fix. We all really loved the Mole Cortado.
Bayou Beer Garden
There’s an huge patio, great tap selection, and late-night food that really saved the day for our team.
Great cocktails and a playlist of ’90s hip-hop that had us dancing until the break of dawn — what more could we ask for?
Obviously a stop to find beignets was necessary. These were perfect — and there were very short lines.
We visited the one on Magazine Street and in Mid-City; both had awesome patios. The Mid-City location had shuffleboard — and we never pass up a game of shuffleboard.

Mid-City Yacht Club
We stopped by for an unforgettable lunchtime crawfish boil and, of course, a few beers.
