This Wrigleyville bar and lounge inside Hotel Zachary (and right across the street from Wrigley Field) has a Mediterranean-inspired menu of light bites, like arancini, feta fries, and harissa-roasted carrots with herbed yogurt, plus a wide selection of wine and cocktails. Order the Letters to Zachary, a dreamy (and boozy) cocktail made with BACARDÍ Ocho, banana liqueur, ginger coconut, and chai. Bamboo Club

With an open-air patio, you can relax and enjoy the outdoors in a fun space that’s decorated with lush, green plants, fun accents like a surfboard table, and rattan furniture. Too hot? Head inside to the bar and restaurant, with plenty of space for hanging with a group. Make sure to order the Jungle Bird, a tiki classic. Bamboo Club’s version features BACARDÍ Ocho, Campari, pineapple juice, and chipotle syrup. Keep an eye out for the bar’s events and special programming, like fire dancers and brunch parties, too.

The Duplex

The Duplex, located in Logan Square, always has something new to offer, thanks to rotating chef concepts that switch up the menu — and yes, the cocktails are great, too. The bar also has daily specials and different events going on throughout the month, including DJs and a night where kids under 13 eat for free. Order up the Alotta Colada, made with BACARDÍ Ocho, overproof rum, cookie butter syrup, orgeat, and lime for a little taste of the tropics (even if it’s not so tropical outside).

Barcocina

When “eat, drink, socialize” is your motto, you have to live up to it — and Barcocina does just that. With locations in West Town and Lakeview, this Mexican spot has a ton of different events going on at any given time, including guacamole-making classes and salsa nights. Skip the marg and go for the Baby Got Daiq-uiri, a drink made with BACARDÍ, BACARDÍ Ocho, passion fruit liqueur, lime, and Angostura bitters. It’s a true match made in heaven with tacos, chips, and salsa. (Did we mention the guacamole?)

I|O Godfrey

The Godfrey is a cool boutique hotel located in River North — but beyond that, it’s also a damn good place to get a drink. Its rooftop lounge, I|O Godfrey, is Chicago’s only year-round rooftop lounge, and offers a state-of-the-art retractable roof, which makes it ideal for grabbing a drink with a date or meeting up for brunch with friends. A must try? The mango mojito, made with the classic BACARDÍ rum, pomegranate liqueur, mango granita (aka a smooth Italian ice), house-made lemon lime soda, and mint.

Now this? This is what you call a crowd-pleasing spot. The name evokes exactly the vibe Recess offers: playful, with a huge patio, bright chairs and tables, tons of board games, giant jenga, and more. Recess also puts on plenty of events, like live DJs and dancing, trivia nights, and watch parties, so yeah, you’ll find something you like to do here. The bar offers elevated takes on usual bar fare, like loaded tater tots and beef-and-lamb gyro taquitos, plus tasty cocktails, like the superlative-inspired Most Likely To… cocktail, which is made with BACARDÍ White Rum, kiwi, pineapple, and lime.

Untitled Supper Club

Travel back in time to the ‘20s with this 18,000-square-foot restaurant, bar, and live entertainment space. With velvet seating and banquettes, a dark bar, and quirky details, this supper club will likely become one of your favorite places to grab a cocktail (or two). We suggest the Hotel Nacional, a cocktail made with BACARDÍ Ocho, cachaça, pineapple, orange, peach, and lime. There’s often live Cabaret-style performances followed by DJs and dancing and even burlesque shows, so you have even more incentive to Charleston the night away.

Moneygun

In this dark and intimate space, you’ll find great cocktails. Period. Located in the West Loop, Moneygun doesn’t take reservations, which makes it a great spot to pop by anytime you happen to be in the area to check out what’s new on the menu. We suggest the house piña colada, made with BACARDÍ Ocho, cream of coconut, and pineapple. Come for happy hour, a date night, or a nitecap — it’s the ideal bar for pretty much any time.

Bar Siena

Right on “restaurant row” in the West Loop, Bar Siena is an ideal place to gather with friends and family. With huge windows that open to the sidewalk, you can eat indoors or outdoors (or, you know, just indoors that feels like the outdoors.) Order a classic margherita pizza, rigatoni alla vodka with whipped burrata, and an Italian take on the mojito — the restaurant’s Mojito Italiano, made with BACARDÍ, basil, and house-made limoncello. It’s a refreshing option for brunch, dinner, or just a drink after a long week.

You can’t go wrong with the burger with Wisconsin cheddar, and there’s often live music to accompany brunch.
