Tim Curran, a champion surfer (and songwriter in his spare time), has traveled all over the world to catch the biggest waves. When he wants a respite from the action, he heads to the Oregon coast to spend time in the lush, natural landscape and to surf in secluded spots.
Marcel Vigneron, a forward-thinking gastronomist from L.A., also needs a break from time to time — though in his case its from the fast-paced kitchen of his restaurant, Wolf. Recently, Vigneron decided to get out of L.A. altogether and met Curran in Oregon to unwind.
