Flank (stylized with a period at the end), a "new American beefsteak," is part of the Whole House Group, which is also behind 29 Sudbury and the forthcoming Battle Road Brewing Company and West Concord Beef Company. The restaurant is inspired by the messy, raucous beefsteak of the mid-1800s and early 1900s, a banquet that involved beef, beer, and no utensils or napkins. (Flank will provide utensils and napkins, but whether or not you use them is up to you.) The menu includes dishes like baked stuffed clams, wild boar rib chops, beef shank with marrow bone, salmon wellington, and more.
