The wine-savvy team that brought New York City the runaway hit Charlie Bird is expanding into pizza with Pasquale Jones. Joining chef Ryan Hardy in the kitchen will be Tim Caspare (formerly of San Francisco's Cotogna), and the duo is creating a menu that highlights the restaurant's two (two!) Stefano Ferrara ovens — one oven will be focused on pizza, while the other will allow for the wood-fired cooking of vegetables and meats. Another fun treat for New Yorkers: Pasquale Jones will eventually offer delivery.
"Our goal in the design of Pasquale Jones was to reintroduce this old-world corner space as a comfortably refined, wood-fired restaurant," the trio says in an email to Eater. "We will always focus on residential feel with our design, and that's the special skill of [architecture and design firm] Leroy Street Studios." | All Pasquale Jones Coverage [ENY]
