Join Eater Young Guns for Three New York Pop-Ups This Summer

Get your tickets for a cocktail class, a Southern-inspired buffet dinner, or a multi-course seafood feast

For eight years Eater has put together a list of the up-and-coming talent in the restaurant world — a collection of chefs, butchers, cheesemongers, bakers, sommeliers, and captains we refer to as Young Guns. We celebrated our 2019 class this summer at our first-ever Eater Young Guns Summit in Brooklyn, and are excited to continue to show some of them off during a trio of pop-up events taking place across New York City this August and September. Read up on all the event details and purchase tickets:

First up, 2018 Young Gun Chelsea Gregoire is leading a hands-on cocktail and punch-making class at DeKalb Market Hall on August 20. All the drinks from Gregoire, who founded Drinkable Genius — a consulting firm that teaches classes and dabbles in all aspects of the beverage space — will be accompanied by endless bites from the DeKalb Market vendors, including Arepa Lady, Bunker, Katz’s, and Ample Hills.

On Thursday, September 5, Young Guns Francesca Chaney (‘19) and DeVonn Francis (‘18) are co-hosting a speakeasy-style dinner in honor of the life of Princess Pamela — legendary restaurateur, poet, and jazz musician who was a Soul Food sensation. The family-style vegan dinner will celebrate Southern food and black culture, accompanied by live music.

Lastly, join Young Gun Jacob Harth (‘19) of one of America’s best new restaurants — Erizo in Portland, Oregon, or a multi-course East/West seafood dinner on September 16. All the dinners will be accompanied by Grey Goose cocktails.
