Kimmel Treats Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan to a Trump Tower of Nuggets

“I don’t want to cheat you out of the experience of visiting the White House.”

Captains of the U.S. women’s soccer team and recent World Cup winners Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, where they were treated to a presidential treat: a buttload of fast food.

The pair sat down with Kimmel, discussing Rapinoe’s recent declaration that she would not visit the White House for any kind of victory celebration, even if invited by President Trump.

Trump has (in)famously laid out elaborate, gaudy spreads of fast food for other sports teams in the past, so an ever-concerned Kimmel attempted to make sure Morgan and Rapinoe weren’t deprived of that crispy, deep-fried experience. For the winners, he provided a mock White House room, fake Secret Service agents holding trays of dipping sauce, and (at the center) a three-foot high mound of 5,000 chicken nuggets.

“If you really are the champions we know you are, the three of us will eat all of these before the night is done,” Kimmel added. That’d be a hefty 1,666 and two-thirds of a nugget between each of them, but Rapinoe and Morgan aren’t known for giving up.
