In an announcement that falls almost exactly one year after the series premiere of the Queer Eye reboot, today Netflix reveals the launch date for Season 3 of the hit lifestyle makeover show: March 15. This new batch of episodes will feature the members of the Fab Five — food expert Antoni Porowski, grooming guru Jonathan Van Ness, design pro Bobby Berk, style maestro Tan France, and cultural jack-of-all-trades Karamo Brown — working their magic in the Midwest. The guys spent part of last fall shooting this new season of the show in and around Kansas City, Missouri. Today’s announcement comes in the form of an Instagram video featuring a brand new track from Carly Rae Jepsen:
And the official Queer Eye Twitter account also shared an animated map, depicting the Fab Five’s journey from Atlanta (where the first two seasons were filmed) to Missouri:
Get in, henny! We’re taking a road trip. Are you ready for Season 3? Kansas City, Missouri HERE. WE. COME. ✨ pic.twitter.com/ZhtbyAMLtE

Wasting no time at all, the members of the Fab Five were also dispatched to Japan this year to shoot a Tokyo-themed season of the feel-good makeover show, although there’s no word yet on when that will see the light of day.
Since the show launched on February 7, 2018, the stars of Queer Eye have become bona fide celebrities. The show won a handful of Emmys last fall, and the Queer Eye crew also signed a lucrative global merchandise deal with the talent management group IMG. In addition to landing a cookbook deal, the show’s culinary expert Antoni Prowoski opened a restaurant in Manhattan last fall called the Village Den serving healthy riffs on comfort foods.
