Wannabe president Howard Schultz targeted by hecklers

After announcing Sunday that he’s “seriously considering” running for president as an independent, ex-Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz kicked off a book tour Monday evening at a Barnes & Noble in NYC. Unsurprisingly, at least two protesters were in the crowd to heckle Schultz and his Very Bad Idea: One screamed “Don’t help elect Trump, go back to Davos!” while the other shouted “Healthcare is a human right.”

• Thankfully, fellow wealthy restaurant businessman Danny Meyer is not harboring any fantasies of a presidential run:

• Meanwhile, Pop-Tarts’ tweet about running for president has gotten nearly 30,000 retweets thus far, which is about eight times as many as Howard Schultz’s. [Fortune]

• Kraft Heinz, maker of such family-friendly products as Kraft Mac ‘n Cheese and Heinz ketchup, tried out a new marketing strategy this week: advertising on Pornhub. [WSJ]
