The new season of David Gelb’s award-winning, highly-influential culinary anthology series Chef’s Table will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday, February 22.

This four-episode series will focus on: Mashama Bailey, the chef of the Grey in Savannah, Georgia; Sean Brock, the creator of the Husk restaurants and a forthcoming Appalachian-themed project in Nashville, Tennessee; Asma Khan, the chef/proprietor of London’s acclaimed supper club-turned-restaurant Darjeeling Express; and famed butcher and slow food champion Dario Cecchini, who operates a meat shop and a string of restaurants in Panzano Italy. The lineups for Seasons 5 and 6 of the hit show were revealed back in September, and Netflix announced the February premiere date for the latest season this week.

Although the show is unquestionably one of Netflix’s most popular culinary series, Chef’s Table has received some criticism in the past for devoting too much attention to brilliant white men working in high-end restaurants. But the casting choices for Season 5, featuring Thai chef Bo Songvisava and Mexican-American star Cristina Martinez, and this new season indicate that the creators of Chef’s Table are taking a more inclusive approach to selecting culinary virtuosos to profile.

Stay tuned for updates on the new season of Chef’s Table Season 6 as they become available.
