Just in time for peak wedding season, national pizzeria chain Villa Italian Kitchen is introducing a bouquet and boutonniere combo made entirely out of pizza ingredients.
The restaurant will be giving away a few of these sets to lucky brides and grooms who enter a contest on the pizzeria’s website (and every person who enters the contest gets a coupon for a free slice of Neapolitan-style pizza). New York City-based food stylist Jessie Bearden is making the bouquets and boutonnieres out of “freshly prepared pizza dough, 100 percent whole milk mozzarella, fresh California tomatoes, and zesty pepperoni.” Villa’s director of digital marketing, Mimi Wunderlich, tells QSR, “We are looking forward to celebrating the marriages of some of our most loyal fans by gifting them a set of their own, just in time for their wedding.”
Naturally, the bouquet would be the perfect complement to this amazing pizza dress at a junk food-themed wedding that could also include bridesmaids wearing gowns made of Taco Bell and Starburst wrappers. Interested parties should move fast, since the pizza bouquet contest ends next Friday, June 15.
