- Celebrity chef Carla Hall, co-host of ABC’s daytime food talk show The Chew, says producers are in no hurry to find a replacement for disgraced chef and former co-host Mario Batali. ABC fired Batali from his TV gig last year after his long history of sexual misconduct came to light.
- Swedish meatballs, it turns out, are actually Turkish, not Swedish, which is news that has shaken Stephen Colbert to his very core. The Late Show host used a segment of Wednesday night’s episode to address the topic, and he premiered a short film called Meatbullë, which is supposedly (but not really) the work of iconic Swedish director Ingmar Bergman.
