- Legendary rappers the Beastie Boys have a new memoir coming out, and the cover features an old photo of the boys posing in front of Stromboli Pizza in New York City. - And, finally, condolences to the people of Japan, who are dealing with a national whisky shortage. Suntory, the country’s most famous purveyor of brown booze, will stop selling its 12-year-old Hakushu and 17-year-old Hibiki whiskys in the next few months because production cannot keep up with outrageous demand. “It will take quite a long time before we can restart sales of the products,” a Suntory spokesperson tells the Nikkei newspaper.
