- On this week’s episode of Parts Unknown, former chef and current TV host Anthony Bourdain packs his bags for Newfoundland, the rocky Canadian province that sits between Quebec and the North Atlantic Ocean. Chefs Frederic Moran, Jeremy Charles, and David McMillan show Bourdain around, and the host digs into such local delicacies as charred whelk with brasciola, caribou tartare, Jiggs Dinner (boiled meat and vegetables), sea urchin pate, stuffed squid over rice, and braised halibut. When he isn’t gorging himself, Bourdain participates in the time-honored traditions of cod fishing, moose hunting, and ax throwing. Parts Unknown: Newfoundland airs this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on CNN.
