Comedian extraordinaire Amy Poehler is directing, producing, and starring in a movie for Netflix called Wine Country that will take place in Napa, California. The comedy will focus on a group of friends who head to the land of oaky Chardonnays and big, bold Cabernet Sauvignons for one member of the squad’s 50th birthday party. Presumably, hilarity will ensue once they start hitting up the wineries. Poehler will be joined by fellow SNL cast alums Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, and Ana Gasteyer, plus two former writers on the legendary sketch show show, Emily Spivey and Paula Pell. This will be Poehler’s feature directorial debut.

Netflix shared a teaser video this afternoon that features the Wine Country crew lounging around a living room, singing along to the Kenny Loggins/Stevie Nicks jam “Whenever I Call You Friend.”

The tagline is, “Your new favorite movie.” Production will begin in March, but no word yet on a release date. Stay tuned for further details as they become available.
