Chrissy Teigen is already a cookbook author and outstanding media personality, and she may soon become a household name as a food and lifestyle guru. Teigen recently filed to register the word “Cravings” as a trademark, reports TMZ.
“Cravings,” as Teigen enthusiasts already know, is a reference to the celebrity’s first cookbook, Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat, which was published in February 2016. She’s working on a follow-up that is tentatively titled Cravings 2; it appears to be just a small piece of a much larger pie that will cement Teigen as America’s newest domestic goddess. The “Cravings” name could be slapped on a wide variety of products that might include housewares and appliances; cookbooks; and “web logs in the field of cooking, recipes, homemaking, and lifestyle,” according to the trademark application.
A company called Suit & Thai Productions, Inc. is named on the filing. It’s the same company that was listed on a trademark application for “Chrissy Teigen” that was filed back in March 2017. Teigen is president of Suit & Thai Productions.
If Teigen is about to ascend to the pantheon populated by the likes of Martha Stewart and Ina Garten, 2018 might not be so bad.
