- Because paper money and metal coins are so last century, Starbucks is now testing a cashless store in Seattle. The cafe is only accepting mobile payments and credit or debit cards. Starbucks plans to gather feedback from both customers and employees before deciding whether to expand the no-cash program to more locations.
- Cookbook author and rising domestic goddess Chrissy Teigen continues to be a great person. After reports surfaced that Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney could not discuss sexual assault allegations against former Team USA trainer Larry Nassar due to a non-disclosure agreement, Teigen has offered to pay the $100,000 fine Maroney would face for breaking said agreement.
