  • Kroger enters the ring as the latest grocery brand to get in on the restaurant game: America’s largest grocery chain will soon open its own restaurant concept, Kitchen 1883, in Union, Kentucky, a city 17 miles outside Cincinnati. It’ll offer “American comfort food” in a “family-friendly setting.”
  • Delivery service Postmates is rolling out a subscription-style service that gives members unlimited delivery for $9.99 a month. Call this one Amazon-inspired.
