Attention, LaCroix diehards: The newest flavor of fizzy water destined for grocery store shelves is key lime. The news was revealed in a letter recently sent to LaCroix shareholders (the company’s stock symbol is FIZZ, naturally), which also came accompanied by a case of the new variety.
According to LaCroix, "its distinctive aroma and sweet-and-tart flavor" is intended to be reminiscent of key lime pie; shareholders who have tasted it say it’s sweeter than the regular lime LaCroix. Sparkling water obsessives will have to decide whether or not it’s worth making room for in their fridges between the rows of Topo Chico and Polar Seltzer (pro tip: throw out the coconut LaCroix, that stuff is trash).
