Hillary Clinton Buys Pizza for Fans Camping Outside Bookstore

And not just any pizza — truly great NYC slices

On the eve of her book launch, former secretary of state/presidential candidate/ senator/first lady Hillary Clinton had a surprise for her mega-fans waiting outside a Barnes & Noble in New York City: fresh pizza pies from local legend Joe’s. A half dozen fans started camping outside the Barnes & Noble in Union Square last night, in the hopes of securing one of the first slots at Hillary’s book signing at the store this morning. The surprise pies were dropped off by one of Clinton’s staffers, who snapped this pic:

It’s unclear whether Clinton herself is a huge fan of Joe’s, one of NYC’s quintessential slice shops, or if this was just a pick from one of her staffers, but it’s still one of the best possible options for pizza delivery in the area near the bookstore.
