Japan is home to many next-level Kit Kats, from melon to pancake, but the latest flavor to arrive in that country of so many excellent snacks is more of a head scratcher: Kit Kat Nodo Ame Aji, or Cough Drop Kit Kats.

Rocket News reports that each serving of cough drop-flavored Kit Kat offers a dose of 2.1 percent throat lozenge powder mixed in with white chocolate. The resulting taste is “fresh and invigorating,” according to Nestlé.

Each package of cough drop-flavored Kit Kats comes emblazoned with the face of Yasutaro Matsuki, a Japanese soccer commentator. The release is timed to FIFA World Cup matches, and they’re available just until September 10. Presumably, the real throat lozenge powder in every candy bar will help Japanese soccer fans cheer without scratchy throats. So the flavor isn’t entirely improbable, after all.
