Sneak Peek: The Search for the Best Affordable Dishes in NYC

‘Dining on a Dime’ returns for a five-borough food journey

After a quick international jaunt, Dining on a Dime — Eater’s ongoing cheap eats adventure — will soon return to New York City, loading up a Metrocard to criss-cross all five boroughs in a quest to enjoy NYC’s best affordable dishes. In this upcoming season, host Lucas Peterson will sample everything from Chinese Cuban fare in Manhattan to Greek souvlaki in Queens to Bolivian salteñas at an underground food hall, among other items. (He even gets to make his own mozzarella.)

Get a sneak peek at the season, debuting next Wednesday, August 9, in the trailer above.
