Earlier this year, chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten announced plans to open a restaurant at London’s Connaught Hotel, the luxury hotel in ritzy Mayfair. Today, those plans have been revealed — and they include takeout pizza. According to London restaurant blog Big Hospitality, Jean-Georges at the Connaught will offer a complete a la carte menu that includes a selection of items from the French chef’s New York restaurants, as well as pizza with toppings like black truffle and tuna and wasabi.

The restaurant’s opening later this month will mark first time takeout pizza has been available at the 100-year-old hotel, Big Hospitality reports. Vongerichten’s more casual restaurant will serve as a counterpoint to chef Hélène Darroze’s two-Michelin-starred fine-dining restaurant on the other side of the hotel. But the chef, known for three-Michelin-starred Jean-Georges and other fine-dining destinations, has more casual spots in his portfolio, including Simply Chicken at New York stadium Madison Square Garden and a la carte restaurants ABC Kitchen and ABCv.

This isn’t the Vongerichten’s first time in London. The chef has opened and closed multiple restaurants in the city, but as Eater noted last year, he’s giving at another try as the London restaurant scene becomes more similar to the scene in New York. He currently operates 13 restaurants in NYC, including the three-Michelin-starred fine dining Jean-Georges, along with restaurants in more than a dozen other major cities and, once again, London.
