After a long day of slaving over the stove at his restaurants and beating other people at cooking on TV, Bobby Flay needs a comfortable couch to sit on. And according to a new lawsuit, the $19,000 leather sectional Flay bought from Jamie Stern Designs just didn’t cut the mustard.

The suit alleges that this sofa was “intolerably uncomfortable to sit on for any extended period of time,” and, what’s more, Flay suggests that Stern refused to reimburse him or repair the “deficient” and “unusable” sofa. One section of the suit notes: “The Sofa breached this implied warranty because it could not be used for the ordinary purpose for which a sofa is used.” Now Bobby wants his money back, plus pre-judgement and post-judgement interest. You can check out the full complaint here.

Flay has not yet commented on the uncomfortable sofa lawsuit, but you better believe this he needed to spend some extra quality time with Nacho after this frustrating ordeal.
