  • Who wants to win dinner with President Trump? The GOP is advertising this contest to drum up donations to the Trump Make America Great Again committee. Exactly where the dinner takes place is unknown (White House vs. restaurant), but either way, winners should brush up on their host’s very particular eating habits.
  • Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop-branded conference — which, among other things, charged guests hundreds of dollars for entry but extra fees for access to “IV drips and B-12 injections” — happened this past weekend. As Page Six reports, the food was predictably Goop-y: Attendees were served organic kefir bowls, collagen martinis, and bee-pollen smoothies.
  • Last night during the Tony Awards, host Kevin Spacey poked fun at every other award show’s inclination to do a “feeing the audience” bit — by cutting off Waitress star Sara Bareilles as she attempted to hand out pie to audience members. “We’re not doing the whole awards show food thing,” Spacey said on-stage. “It’s been done to death.”
  • The recent birth of a baby panda in a Tokyo zoo will increase tourism so much that it’s boosting restaurants’ stock prices.
  • Over the weekend, lifestyle goddess Chrissy Teigen and equally successful husband John Legend threw a pizza party at Chicago’s deep-dish legend Lou Malnati’s:
