Will Anthony Bourdain Ever Forgive Eric Ripert for Taking Him Snowshoeing?

This photo of the Parts Unknown host is priceless

Famous chef bromances are a dime a dozen these days (see: Rene and David; David and Sean; Sean and Danny; Danny and Sean and Inaki; Inaki and David; David and Rene and Danny). Updates about these BFFs on social media range from cute to cloying to irritating to delete-Instagram-obnoxious. But there’s one bromance that somehow always seems fresh, fun, and not a teensy bit forced: the bond between America’s favorite culinary silver foxes, Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert.

The guys have traveled the world together in search of the spiciest foods and richest chocolates. They’ve scootered around Marseilles, rode burros on the beach in Grand Cayman, and glided along rivers in China. And this weekend, Bourdain and The Ripper went on a snowshoeing excursion. Here’s a photo that Mr. Ripert snapped of his homeboy halfway up the mountain:

Best Sunday afternoon? Snowshoeing w always so cheerful @anthonybourdain
