Last week, Late Show host Stephen Colbert revealed his obsession with Hamptons-based cookbook author/lifestyle guru/real American hero Ina Garten via a series of hilarious tweets. Colbert joked about making her elephant ear recipe and asked why there were so many empty seats at Garten’s table. He also pitched her on a collaboration called Cooking for Stephen.

It turns out that Ina was paying attention to the late-night host all along, and the respect is mutual. Yesterday, Garten tweeted this perfect mock cookbook cover, which is a riff on her most recent release Cooking for Jeffrey:

Although it’s sad to think of Garten’s husband Jeffrey moving out of the picture, this book definitely needs to happen. Colbert and Garten can probably find time in their busy schedules to collaborate on the truffled scrambled eggs and Twinkie French toast recipes. Both of them are best-selling authors, they both love food, and they’re both funny people, so this would surely rocket up the charts.
