Taco Bell Is Testing a French Fry-Stuffed Burrito

• Taco Bell is taking a cue from Cali-style Mexican food with its newest menu item, a french fry-stuffed burrito. It’s currently available for $1.99, but only at select locations.

Salt Bae cooked at DJ Khaled’s 42nd birthday party, which was hosted by Diddy in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

• The next season of Top Chef will take place in Colorado, but sadly there will be no cannabis-related challenges.

• Starbucks recently announced it would shutter all 379 of its Teavana stores by the end of the year, but a judge has ordered 77 of them to remain open for the time being following a lawsuit by shopping mall behemoth Simon Property Group.

A Chef’s Life star Vivian Howard will open her newest restaurant, Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria, in Wilmington, N.C. on December 12. Howard recently described the new concept to Eater as a “fun, Italian-American pizza and pasta joint” that will serve 14-inch, wood-fired, loosely Neapolitan-style pies.

Go inside China’s government-run restaurants. Originally designed to serve government workers the food from their provinces, the restaurants are now open to the public and serve a diverse group of locals, visitors, and government officials.
