Because America can’t get enough of his platinum spikes, backward Oakleys, and totally out-of-bounds demeanor, rude, crude culinary dude (and honest-to-goodness hero) Guy Fieri has another new show that will soon premiere on Food Network. Guy’s Ranch Kitchen is scheduled make its debut this Sunday, November 12, at noon ET/PT.
The name of the show refers to Guy’s NorCal home, as opposed to, say, a concept centered on foods topped with ranch dressing. Instead of traveling around the country in a vintage Camaro to down-home diners, drive-ins, and dives, the Mayor of Flavortown will invite some of his closest Food Network friends to his humble abode for an assortment of cooking segments. The first episode to air, titled “Friendsgiving,” will feature chefs Alex Guarnaschelli, Eric Greenspan, Aarti Sequeira, Carl Ruiz, and Aaron May preparing autumn-appropriate cuisine.
“With ‘too many cooks in the kitchen,’ friendly competition sparks as they try to outdo each other with the most flavorful and delicious dishes,” reads a press release. This show is going to be off the hook.
Guy’s Ranch Kitchen is one of two new Fieri-hosted shows on Food Network this month. On Guy’s Big Project, which premiered Sunday, November 5, the Donkey Sauce inventor attempts to share his wisdom with 10 competitors who are vying for their own show on the channel.
