The autumnal plague that is pumpkin spice-flavored foodstuffs has spread to the world of edible marijuana. Good Co-Op, an Oakland-based cannabis company, is now producing a pumpkin spice blondie bar that packs a small amount of THC.
“I wanted to incorporate the warmth and nostalgia of Autumn into a delicious low dose edible,” Good Co-Op head of research and development Peter Cervantes says. “As a baked good, we felt we could one-up the iconic seasonal latte by incorporating organic pumpkin and our own proprietary spice blend, which complement the herbal notes of the cannabis.”
Sounds both festive and dank. Surely Starbucks will look to add this item to its fall bakery case once weed laws loosen up enough. For now, it’s available on Eaze, a weed-delivery platform, and a box of three bars checks in at $15.
Anyone looking for a beverage to pair with the buzz-inducing pastry will want to consider making a weed-infused pumpkin spice latte. The two make a perfect combo for a cozy, fall, wake-and-bake breakfast.
