Watch: Aziz Ansari Disrupts a Serious Crime Bust With Songs About Pizza on ‘SNL’

Fresh off his dramatic Yelp review readings on the Tonight Show, actor and noted food lover Aziz Ansari hosted Saturday Night Live from the first time ever last night. When he wasn’t skewering America’s new Commander in Chief, Ansari took the mic at a Chuck E. Cheese’s-style restaurant to completely disrupt a serious crime bust with pizza-themed tunes.

Powered up with the flick of a switch, Peppy Ronnie (played by Ansari) and his house band of animatronic pizza-loving characters — Chef Jeff, Cheesy Steve, and Mary Nara — serenade two unsuspecting cops and a criminal with an unrelenting list of obnoxious songs. One of the cops played by Kenan Thompson has a hard time keeping a straight face.

Whether you like it or not, by the end of the sketch “I like that pizza, pizza,” will be firmly cemented in your brain for the rest of the day. Watch the full clip above.
