Are You Anthony Bourdain’s Biggest Fan?

Since 2013, intrepid traveler/resurgent cookbook author/jiu-jitsu champion Anthony Bourdain has circled the globe on behalf of CNN, making the resulting show, Parts Unknown, must-see-TV for a certain kind of food obsessive. We count ourselves among that crowd, recapping Bourdain’s best bon mots from each episode for the past few seasons. Cumulatively, there's a lot of unexpected food metaphors, colorful verbs, and yes, profanity to go around.

In honor of the show’s season eight premiere on Sunday — which features a pretty impressive "cameo" by none other President Barack Obama, who joins Bourdain in Hanoi, Vietnam for a bowl of noodles — we’re putting fellow superfans to the test. To date, 61 episodes of Parts Unknown have hit the airwaves, sending Bourdain to locales both far (Myanmar, South Africa, Paraguay) and near (New Jersey, the Bay Area, New Mexico).
