Child-star-turned-disgraced-Hollywood-wild-child Lindsay Lohan is making her triumphant return to the screen. The small screen at least, to appear as a celebrity sous chef on Jamie Oliver’s U.K. cooking show Friday Night Feast. Lohan teased the upcoming appearance on Instagram and Twitter this week.
If the hashtags used in her Instagram post are any indication, the episode should feature #food and will be #comingsoon, though no details have been released. A cursory glance at the photo reveals the unlikely duo seem to have cooked some sort of savory pie and broccoli rabe (though it’s unclear why Oliver appears to be sautéing it on the counter, rather than over the stove).
The British chef and would-be hobbit alluded to Lohan’s appearance in an Instagram post, writing that Lohan (who he referred to as a "surprise celebrity guest") was the final guest to appear on this season of Friday Night Feast.
This will be Lohan’s most public project in quite some time. According to IMDB, she most recently acted in a short called Till Human Voices Wake Us and is currently in post-production on another project.
