Ketchup and pickles do not belong in a burrito

Burger King's foray into gut-busting menu items no one asked for in the first place continues: GrubGrade reports a BK in Hermitage, Pennsylvania is offering traditional Whopper ingredients all wrapped up in a tortilla and named, of course, the Whopperrito.

Burger King is also testing testing Whopper Dogs in select markets, according to Fortune. The dish appears to meld the Whopper with a surprisingly popular new item on the chain's menu, grilled hot dogs, and is the latest in a slew of gimmicky foods like "angry" red buns and fried chicken in the shape of rings.

According to a photo taken at the Hermitage location, the Whopperrito appears to include flame-grilled beef, American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles, and onions. Will BK unleash the fury of the Whopperito on the other 49 states? According to a BK spokesperson, "There are no plans to introduce the Whopperrito nationally." Whew.

Is the Burger King Hot Dog an Abomination?
