This Concoction Transforms Booze Into 'Edible Bubbles'

It's unclear why this needs to exist

The next time drinking a cocktail makes you feel a little too adult, consider returning to your childlike roots by transforming the drink into boozy bubbles you can eat. Someone in the United Kingdom has invented Bubble Lick Edible Bubbles, which uses a non-toxic solution to transform any liquid — including alcoholic beverages — into "tasty edible bubbles."

"It comes in a pack of six bottles, each containing 25ml of bubble solution with space remaining in the bottle to add any beverage you fancy — lemonade, cola, cold-press coffee, gin, tequila — anything (well, not thick liquids like milk)," reads the product's official description. "Screw the lid back on, give the bottle a gentle rock, and just like that, your favorite drink has been transformed into bubbly deliciousness, ready to be blown all over the place with the included wands."

Apparently this innovation came about because the inventor's children asked, "Why can't bubbles be lickable and made from any liquid?" While that sounds less like realistic conversation and more like PR copy, in the end, it doesn't matter. The world's childlike grown-ups finally have a more fun way to consume their beverages of choice.
