Oscar-winning actress Helen Hunt has a pretty darn recognizable face, having starred in such mega-blockbusters as Twister. But the Starbucks barista who served her yesterday must have been born too late to see that film, because they apparently mistook her for another very famous Hollywood actress. (Said barista also misspelled "Jodie," but frankly that's par for the course.)
Ordered my drink @Starbucks Asked the barista if she wanted my name. She winked and said. "We gotcha" #JodieFoster pic.twitter.com/ItjBZoJzP2

Hmmm. Well, maybe Helen Hunt and Jodie Foster do look alike and it was a totally understandable error?
No, no they do not.
And here's the company's attempt at an apology-slash-joke, referencing yet another film that the barista clearly never saw:
@HelenHunt Sorry about that! We hope the drink was still as good as it gets.

One has to wonder if said barista would have also confused Tom Hanks for Bill Murray, or if actresses over 40 — for whom there are a notorious lack of Hollywood roles — are seemingly invisible enough so as to be interchangeable. Either way, hopefully Hunt's iced beverage helped quell the sting of being mistaken for one of her peers.
And word to wise baristas: Even if you think you've got someone pegged, maybe just let them tell you their name anyway. (Either that, or keep the IMDB app handy on your smartphone for any ZOMG-is-that-Demi-Moore-or-Sandra-Bullock moments.)
A previous version of this post identified Helen Hunt as starring in Jurassic Park. That, of course, was Laura Dern; the author will now take her own advice to download that darn IMDB app.
