Watch Anthony Bourdain Learn Why Locals Call Montana Home

Scenes from the next episode of 'Parts Unknown'

Season 7 of Parts Unknown continues as world-traveling host Anthony Bourdain takes a trip to Montana. The former chef experiences what life is like on the rough terrain, and in this clip, he learns why Montana's people are proud to call the state home. A resident of Livingston, a "rough-and-tumble, cattlemen, railroad town," bellies up to the bar with Bourdain to explain why he's planted roots in the state.

"I never take this place for granted," the local says. "OK, it's one of the most beautiful places that I've been. And I like to enjoy the outdoors, take my son hunting, you know."

In another clip from the episode, Bourdain speaks with a Native American who hails from Montana. The two discuss the centuries-old relationship the Crow people have with horses and what that looks like in modern day. To that effect, Bourdain gets a front-row seat for a round of "Indian relay racing."

The next episode of Parts Unknown airs Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET on CNN.
