Here now is a look inside It's All Easy, patron saint of celebrity cookbooks Gwyneth Paltrow's latest offering, which hits shelves on April 12. The cookbook is the first title from goop press (all lowercase because of course), with Grand Central Life & Style. The highly-anticipated follow up to Paltrow's It's All Good, the book covers the Pinterest-ready world of "delicious weekday recipes for the super-busy home cook."
As Eater previously described while naming the book one of this spring's essential cookbook releases: "True fans and hate-readers alike will find what they're looking for in It's All Easy. In the book there's a photo of Paltrow laughing alone eating... not sure... something in a bowl (clams?) with a side of bread (lol). There's a claim that Paltrow "pretty much invented" avocado toast. There are photos of her kids." [Update 4/20/16: The sentence referring to Paltrow "pretty much" inventing avocado toast was cut from the final draft of the book.]
Hardcore cookbook wonks may note that this is the first Paltrow cookbook without her frequent collaborator Julia Turshen as a credited co-author or disputed ghostwriter. Instead, Paltrow tapped Thea Baumann, the food editor of her lifestyle brand Goop, as her co-author. Ditte Isager is once again on board for the photos.
