Chick-fil-A's Weirdly Exclusive Loyalty Program Is Invite-Only

Only for the most die-hard nugget lovers

Some say the best things in life are free, but sometimes getting those free things proves awfully difficult. Chick-Fil-A has a loyalty program for its customers, but many may not be aware because the program is apparently super-exclusive — members have to be invited to join. Perks of being one of the chosen few include free meals, behind-the-scenes tours, and other giveaways, according to CNBC.

The program, called A-List, targets only the most loyal chicken eaters, who can then activate a special card to swipe or scan with each purchase at Chick-Fil-A.  "A-List is a VIP program meant to honor our best and most loyal customers," Chick-Fil-A explains on its website. The program is reportedly open to anyone, but it's at the discretion of participating locations, which "will personally invite guests to become a part of the A-List." Those hoping to secure the Amex black card of the fast food industry better get cracking on those waffle fry purchases. (Perhaps a brief foray into the nugget diet is in order?)

Plenty of other chains have loyalty programs, albeit not ones nearly as secretive as Chick-Fil-A's: Starbucks has recently taken some heat for overhauling its own wildly popular rewards program.
